Part Time Donor Relations Specialist - Flexible Time Commitment

We are seeking a part-time Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. In this exciting role, you will play a key role in securing the financial resources needed to support our critical work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach to cultivate new individual donors
• Steward existing donor relationships through phone calls, emails, and handwritten notes
• Research and identify potential major donors
• Assist with developing and implementing fundraising campaigns
• Prepare donor thank-you letters and recognition materials
• Track donor communication and record contributions in our database

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to build rapport and connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong understanding of non-profit fundraising principles (preferred)
• A passion for Bag's Buddies' mission and the ability to articulate our impact to potential donors
• Experience with Donor Perfect a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of two hours per week
